The Vision of Establishing The Living Faith College

The Mandate for Revival and Education in East Africa

The Living Faith Movement stands as a vibrant torchbearer of spiritual awakening, uniquely positioned to play a catalytic role in the transformation of East Africa. Driven by a mandate that reaches into every sector of society, the Movement’s vision is not merely the renewal of personal faith but the birthing of a sweeping revival—one that permeates communities, cultures, and institutions across the region. Central to this vision is the establishment of a Bible College that will both sustain and amplify this revival, nurturing a new generation of leaders, thinkers, and professionals who are grounded in faith and equipped to serve in all walks of life.

The Mandate for Revival: Reaching Every Sector

The Living Faith Movement’s foundational mandate is to ignite a revival that touches every sphere: from the marketplace to the academy, from the pulpit to the parliament, and from the villages to the bustling urban centers. Revival, in the context of this Movement, is more than a series of emotional gatherings or fleeting spiritual experiences. It is a holistic transformation that restores brokenness, inspires moral courage, and infuses hope into the fabric of society.

· Spiritual Awakening: At the heart of the Movement is a call to personal and collective spiritual renewal—rekindling a passionate relationship with God and fostering a culture of prayer, worship, and service.

· Social Transformation: The Movement envisions a revival that brings tangible change to communities: healing divisions, advocating for justice, and equipping  the marginalized through education

· Economic Enlightenment: Recognizing that faith and work are inseparable, the Movement seeks to inspire entrepreneurial spirit, ethical business practices, and community development through the wisdom of scripture.

· Educational Reform: The Movement believes that true revival must be sustained through a robust commitment to education, shaping minds and hearts for generations to come.

The Birth of the Bible College: A Center for Sustaining Revival

To ensure that this revival is not a passing wave but a lasting legacy, The Living Faith Movement is committed to establishing a Bible College in East Africa. This College will serve as the Movement’s intellectual and spiritual epicenter, where students are equipped to become agents of transformation—imbued with vision, character, and competence.

Foundational Pillars of the Bible College

The proposed Bible College is envisioned as an institution built on three foundational pillars:

· Biblical Foundation: Every course and program will be rooted in the authority of scripture, training students to interpret, apply, and embody the truths of the Bible in all aspects of life.

· Holistic Education: The College will value both spiritual formation and academic excellence, integrating faith with learning across diverse disciplines.

· Missional Focus: Students will be challenged and empowered to carry the message of revival beyond the college walls, becoming leaders in their communities, nations, and the world.

Curriculum and Academic Vision

The College’s curriculum will begin with a strong emphasis on theological and ministerial training, preparing pastors, evangelists, and church leaders capable of stewarding revival movements. However, the vision does not stop here. In time, the College will expand its offerings to function as a full-fledged Christian college, providing degrees and diplomas in a wide array of fields—business, education, health sciences, social work, technology, and the arts.

The intention is to model the College on the tradition of classical Christian higher education, where the integration of faith and reason produces well-rounded, ethical, and visionary graduates. Students from all walks of life will discover a place where their vocational aspirations are nurtured within a framework of spiritual formation, intellectual curiosity, and practical service.

From Bible College to Full Christian College: Growth and Expansion

The Living Faith Movement’s vision is dynamic and expansive. While the initial focus is on training spiritual leaders to sustain revival, the ultimate goal is to see the Bible College grow into a respected Christian college that rivals traditional institutions in academic rigor and professional training.

Planned Trajectory

· Phase One: Launch of the Bible College, offering certificate and diploma programs in biblical studies, leadership, and ministry.

· Phase Two: Introduction of undergraduate degree programs in theology and related fields, attracting students from across East Africa.

· Phase Three: Expansion into professional and technical disciplines—business, education, healthcare, sciences—positioning the institution as a hub of holistic education rooted in Christian values.

· Phase Four: Establishment of postgraduate and research programs, contributing to the intellectual and spiritual life of the continent.

Long-Term Vision

The College aspires to become a cradle of innovation and leadership, producing alumni who are not only spiritually mature but also academically competent and socially responsible. Whether serving in the church, the government, the corporate world, or the nonprofit sector, graduates will carry forward the Movement’s ethos of faith, integrity, and service.

Impact on East Africa: Transforming Communities and Nations

The establishment of such an institution has the potential to reshape the educational and spiritual landscape of East Africa. By equipping students with both practical skills and deep convictions, the College will become a driving force for holistic development.

· Empowering Local Churches: Trained ministers and lay leaders will return to their congregations equipped to nurture revival, disciple believers, and foster unity.

· Raising Influential Professionals: Graduates educated in Christian ethics and excellence will impact education, business, law, healthcare, and governance, modeling servant leadership and ethical stewardship.

· Strengthening Civil Society: The College will encourage civic responsibility, advocacy for justice, and collaborative engagement across religious and cultural divides.

· Promoting Research and Innovation: As the College matures, it will contribute to thought leadership in theology, social sciences, public policy, and community development, generating solutions to the pressing challenges facing East Africa and the rest of the African Continent.

Challenges and Opportunities

The journey to establish and grow the Bible College will not be without challenges. Issues such as funding, accreditation, faculty recruitment, infrastructure development, and cultural adaptation will require vision, perseverance, and collaboration. Yet, the opportunities far outweigh the obstacles. By drawing on partnerships with churches, organizations, and educational institutions both locally and globally, The Living Faith Movement can create a sustainable model that inspires similar initiatives throughout Africa and beyond.

Conclusion: A Legacy for Generations

The Living Faith Movement’s mandate to birth revival throughout East Africa is bold, prophetic, and timely. By anchoring this revival in quality Christian education—beginning with the Bible College and expanding into a full-fledged Christian college—the Movement is laying the groundwork for enduring transformation. This vision is not just for the present generation; it is a legacy that will shape families, communities, and nations for decades to come.

May the flame of revival, kindled by faith and fanned by learning, illuminate East Africa and inspire the world. Join the Movement and Support the Vision.
